• Bespreking oor die natuurlike frekwensies van vibrasie in ‘n masjien struktuur.  Die teoretiese agtergrond hieroor word gegee, en dan word daar met eindige element analise gewys hoe om die natuurlike frekwensie (‘modale analise’) van die nuutste weergawe van die MESOFREESMASJIEN te bepaal.
• Die restourasie van ‘n Thomas sirkelsaag, en die Deckel tipe klamp projek se vordering word gewys en bespreek.
• Bespreking van die draadsnyerprojek.

SA-CNC AGENDA FOR THURSDAY 24 OCT 2019 – 19:00

• Discussion about natural frequencies of vibration of a machine structure.  A bit of theory about this will be given as background and then we will show a finite element analysis model to determine the natural frequencies (‘modal analysis’) of the latest version of the MESO-MILL.
• An outline of the restoration of a Thomas cut off saw is provided.  The progress on the Deckel type clamp project is shown.
• Discussion of the wire cutter project.
